While it can be challenging finding just the right set of activities to keep teenagers active and engaged in ministry, at CFBC we are striving to incorporate our budding adults into ministry in a diverse set of ways.

Our teenagers that show an interest in music are an integral part of our Music Ministry using their talents in worship to the Lord by playing varying instruments on our Worship Team.

The teens also participate as presenters each month in our “Missionary Highlight” moments that are part of our Sunday morning worship service once a month. Teens volunteer to present information updates on the missionaries that CFBC supports.

CFBC has a teen Sunday School class that meets each Sunday. They are currently studying the “Fundamentals of the Faith” course (https://www.gty.org/library/fundamentals). They have weekly discussion time in this course.

Social activities (i.e., bowling, attending plays, missionary events, etc.) are scheduled throughout the year to provide opportunities for the youth to build friendships and be a source of encouragement to one another.

See the calendar for teen events currently scheduled.

AWANA (Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed)

We offer the AWANA Program for Pre-K to the teenage age group. The Club focuses on building a foundational understanding with the children on the gospel of Jesus Christ, Bible study discussion, and scripture memorization. AWANA is committed to the belief that the greatest impact for Christ starts with kids who know, love and serve Him.

CFBC’s AWANA Clubs meet on Wednesdays, 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
See the calendar for details on specific club dates and events.
